Business Finance (CB1) teaches the theory and practise of corporate finance, as well as the major components of financial statements. Candidates will learn about corporate governance, various types of company structures, management goals and maximising shareholder wealth, traditional and new methods of raising short and long-term finance, leverage, growth and profitability, and mergers and acquisitions. Financial statements analysis takes into account regulation and regulatory bodies for financial reporting, the company’s balance sheet, income and cash flow statements, and management accounting elements.
